Job Description

System One is seeking a Senior Digital Product Manager to shepherd enterprise digital products from concept to ongoing optimization within a large, complex organization. This contract position in Reston, VA offers hybrid work with EST hours and centers on partnering with internal clients and tech teams to deliver meaningful product outcomes.

Overview

The Senior Digital Product Manager leads the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise-grade digital products, from initial kickoff through launch, continuous improvements, and long-term performance optimization. The role collaborates closely with internal clients, technology teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to guide product decisions, coordinate deliverables, and drive value across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal clients and cross-functional teams to bring digital products to market, keep them current, and drive ongoing evolution.
  • Lead decision-making processes, clearly communicate milestones, and synchronize activity across departments and partners.
  • Track and update product maturity metrics, issue/action/risk logs, installation checklists, and value-delivery documentation.
  • Identify emerging customer needs and translate them into actionable requirements for the product team.
  • Oversee end-to-end implementation, including equipment ordering, installation oversight, account creation support, communications, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Drive deliverables to completion in line with the implementation schedule.
  • Provide product training sessions for customers as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field; or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • More than 10 years in leadership roles.
  • At least 3 years of product management experience.
  • SAFe or Agile certification.
  • Product Management certification.
  • Expert-level analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong skills in project planning and lifecycle development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to train and mentor others at an advanced level.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to work with demanding stakeholders.
