Senior Digital Product Owner
Job Description
Help deliver production-ready capabilities for the Cat Foresight Condition Monitoring Digital Product, using predictive analytics and Generative AI.
Responsibilities
- Define Epics and Features for new capabilities, grounded in clear understanding of the business problems to solve
- Collaborate with the Cat Foresight Condition Monitoring Product Manager to support prioritization across the broader Product Backlog
- Coordinate with product development engineers to track and communicate development timelines and budget allocation
- Identify, document, and report design, reliability, and maintenance problems and bugs
- Gather and consolidate feedback from customers and field staff
- Coordinate with field support and users to resolve problems and expand product usage
- Answer user and field support questions; provide guidance on issues related to the overall Product
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Product Owner or related role using Agile methodology
- Extensive knowledge of software product business operations, including managing install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision
- Extensive experience managing software change requests from customers, prospective customers, vendors, and internal staff
- Extensive understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques for transmitting, receiving, and interpreting information and needs
- Extensive experience using decision-making processes and associated tools to analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
- Extensive knowledge of UAT activities, tasks, tools, and techniques, including designing, implementing, and evaluating acceptance tests for end-users
- Typically, a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree in a technical field such as Applied Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Predictive Analytics, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering (examples include Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Industrial, Agricultural), or equivalent technical degree
- Working knowledge of strategies, practices, and tools for resolving software problems in installed software products
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
- Experience working with an onshore/offshore team model
- Knowledge of UAT activities, tasks, tools and techniques (acceptance testing for end-users)
- Knowledge of software change request management (managing change requests from customers, prospective customers, vendors, and internal staff)
- Industry experience is a plus

Compensation
- USD 112,710 - 183,140 per year
