Job Description
Versant Media seeks a Senior Product Manager to drive a new generation of AI powered equity research tools for individual investors. Focusing on retail investor research, discovery, and AI generated insights, this onsite role blends consumer SaaS, equity research, and artificial intelligence to empower individual investors.

Salary
USD 125,000–170,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the core product experiences for stock research and discovery features
- Lead product discovery with retail investors to understand how they identify ideas, evaluate stocks, build conviction, and make investment decisions
- Translate customer needs and market insights into clear opportunities, requirements, and execution plans
- Shape how AI generated insights are presented to ensure users understand the reasoning, evidence, and assumptions behind recommendations
- Define success metrics, analyze user behavior, conduct experiments, synthesize feedback, and iterate rapidly based on user actions
- Clearly communicate product strategy, tradeoffs, decisions, and progress across Product, Design, Engineering, Equity Research, and senior leadership
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of product management experience building and scaling consumer subscription products in fintech, retail investing, financial media, or related consumer financial offerings
- Strong preference for experience owning paid subscription growth, engagement, or retention initiatives
- Proven ability to take features from discovery through launch, including customer interviews, requirements definition, execution, and post launch measurement
- Solid understanding of public equity markets and the retail investor experience; familiarity with how individual investors research, evaluate opportunities, construct portfolios, and use financial news, data, and AI tools; personal investing experience is a plus
- Ability to blend customer insights with product judgment to deliver compelling products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate problems, rationale, requirements, tradeoffs, and launch plans
- High initiative and intellectual curiosity, comfortable operating in ambiguity
