Senior Product Manager, Camera Platform and Experiences, Gemini for Home
Job Description
Own and evolve the core camera platform and end-to-end video experiences for Gemini for Home across Google Home and connected devices.
Responsibilities
- Set a multi-year product vision, platform strategy, and roadmap spanning camera journeys and the broader device ecosystem.
- Lead camera experiences, reimagining video playback through thoughtful application of AI.
- Ensure camera platform health and drive end-to-end quality across the full video journey.
- Guide cross-functional execution to rethink video playback experiences while maintaining platform performance and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
- 3+ years taking technical products from conception to launch (for example: ideation to execution, end-to-end delivery, 0 to 1).
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or Large Language Model (LLM) interfaces into workflows.
- Experience bringing consumer software, media/video platforms, or connected hardware experiences from conception to launch.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- Experience with low-latency real-time video using WebRTC, HLS, and CMAF, plus exposure to cloud media pipelines, SDK/platform extensibility, and launching experiences on consumer hardware.
- Applied ML quality experience using tools such as evaluations, human reviews, and automated raters to meet and exceed quality goals.
- Proven ability to act as an end-to-end owner, synthesizing consumer needs, system architecture trade-offs, and business unit economics into a multi-year strategy.
- Track record of directly prototyping AI tools/workflows, creating evaluation harnesses, and shipping AI-powered consumer experiences.
