Senior Product Manager - Core UI

SAS is seeking a Senior Product Manager to help shape SAS Core UI, a shared UI foundation that enables reusable components, graph and visualization capabilities, and domain-aligned UI kits. This hybrid role in Cary, NC focuses on driving consistent adoption across SAS teams while aligning technical execution with business goals.

What you’ll do

• Define and prioritize requirements for Core UI Components, the graph library, server and services, and Domain Kits using business drivers, customer input, internal demand, accessibility expectations, and field contributions.
• Own and maintain roadmaps for reusable UI foundations, including component libraries, data visualization and graph capabilities, and domain kits that support common platform and product workflows.
• Translate business and consumer needs into technical, functional, and non-functional requirements that engineering, design, and architecture teams can deliver.
• Develop user personas, adoption scenarios, and use cases for teams consuming shared UI foundations and domain kits.
• Partner with software development, UX design, architecture, program management, and consuming product teams to guide product development end-to-end.
• Prioritize investments that reduce duplicate implementations, improve product consistency, accelerate adoption, and minimize breaking-change impact for consumers.
• Communicate product vision, roadmap progress, and demos to internal stakeholders, customers, and leadership audiences.
• Spot emerging technology, market, and consumer needs that create opportunities or risks for Core UI foundations, visualization capabilities, and Domain Kits.
• Support launches with migration planning, release readiness, and knowledge transfer to product teams plus enablement, marketing, sales, and support.
• Ensure applicable security policies and processes are followed to support secure software development goals.

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years of experience in Product Management, technical product strategy, platform product management, or a related technology industry function.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Engineering, or related field).
• Experience managing or consuming enterprise UI platforms, design systems, component libraries, graph and visualization frameworks, or reusable developer platforms.
• Track record of building or delivering technical solutions that address customer or product-team challenges at scale.
• Experience with accessibility, UX standards, API or platform adoption, release planning, and migration or change management.
• Familiarity with modernizing legacy codebases to modern languages and software practices.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
