Senior Product Manager - Oncology
Job Description
Lead global oncology marketing for Molecular Diagnostics, driving strategy through launch, lifecycle, and field enablement.
Responsibilities
- Own global, end-to-end marketing for the Molecular Diagnostics oncology business
- Lead strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and execution of the oncology marketing strategy
- Develop sales enabling tools, messaging, and programs; partner with sales leadership to support field performance and revenue goals
- Oversee product launches, lifecycle management, third-party relationships, and ongoing product support
- Contribute to strategic marketing plans and support new product development
- Create materials for sales training and industry presentations
- Maintain worldwide market expertise, including competitor products and strategies, market trends and dynamics, franchise critical success factors, and customer needs
- Lead development of the global marketing strategy and update annual marketing plans using market analysis, customer segmentation and targeting, product positioning, competitive assessments, and SWOT or other situation assessments
- Build commercialization strategies for new products and drive share capture for existing products
- Assess new markets and opportunities to support BD and R&D
- Manage new product introduction plans and global launches with cross-functional and regional teams; coordinate with global sales training to educate distributors and local teams
- Execute global marketing communications with regional teams to deliver multi-channel strategies that strengthen brand presence and support market development
- Partner with global peers and in-market experts to build the brand and achieve business goals
- Serve as liaison to global stakeholders across Headquarters and Regions in a matrix organizational design to deliver plans
- Maintain compliance with FDA regulations and company policies while supporting a safe, professional, and collaborative environment for employees, customers, and partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or equivalent education and work experience
- 6+ years experience with demonstrated success in a complex selling environment (multiple stakeholders, multiple decision makers, product alignment to goals and initiatives)
- 4+ years progressive experience in medical device, pharma, diagnostics, or related industry
- Experience in product, market, or program management; oncology marketing preferred
- Strong business acumen with strategic thinking and advanced analytical and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence in matrixed, global environments
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills across organizational levels
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- 30% travel (including international)

Location: Lake Forest, IL (onsite) | Salary: USD 113,300 - 226,700 per year
