senior project manager, UX Research Operations

Senior Project Manager, UX Research Operations based in the greater Seattle area, responsible for planning and optimizing UX research operations, tooling, recruitment, and cross-functional partnership at Starbucks.

Responsibilities

• Streamline research operations by identifying gaps and delivering improvement plans
• Coordinate logistics for studies, including Miro boards, equipment setup, observation rooms, and travel
• Boost team efficiency by selecting and implementing research tools
• Monitor the progress of recruitment requests for studies
• Recruit and schedule participants across US and Canadian company-owned markets
• Collaborate with Coffeehouse leadership and partners
• Oversee participant panels, consent forms, and data usage reviews

Requirements

• 5+ years in research operations management, covering scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, procurement, and communications
• 5+ years partnering with UX research teams on complex or mid-sized projects
• 5+ years building strong cross-functional relationships
• 2+ years mentoring research professionals in research operations
• 5+ years of corporate experience in large, matrixed organizations
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and process-driven mindset
• Experience recruiting and scheduling study participants
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Teams (Teams Live events a plus)
• Experience using UX tools such as Figma and Jira
• Ability to work onsite 4 days per week at the Starbucks Support Center in Seattle, with occasional local travel
