Job Description

This hybrid Senior Technical Project Manager and Product Owner role connects marketing strategy with technical delivery. You will partner with Marketing and Marketing Operations to prioritize marketing SaaS initiatives and Salesforce (SFDC) customizations, translating goals into an actionable roadmap and coordinating execution.

How You’ll Contribute

  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations and leadership to convert marketing strategies into a prioritized product roadmap, balancing business requirements, technical debt, and system stability.
  • Refine and sequence the systems backlog according to agreed funding, priorities, and outcomes, while managing tradeoffs related to technical debt and stability.
  • Partner with Marketing stakeholders and BSAs to document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and coordinate with architects and developers on technical specifications.
  • Create delivery plans and coordinate resource needs and capacity commitments with functional managers to drive end-to-end marketing technology delivery.
  • Facilitate project meetings, sprint planning, demos, and support BSAs and business users during testing, including coordination of UAT and deployment readiness reviews.
  • Identify cross-system dependencies, mitigate technical risks, and resolve delivery bottlenecks across teams.
  • Provide clear, tailored status updates on project progress, roadmap milestones, and technical tradeoffs for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
  • Work with system architects and developers to ensure platform feasibility, support third-party SaaS integration functionality, and participate in proof-of-concept initiatives and architectural decisions.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to support data hygiene, security compliance, and end-to-end data flows between top-of-funnel marketing tools, lead routing systems, and Salesforce.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in a PM or hybrid Technical PM/PO role managing software or business systems projects in an Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of core marketing processes, campaign operations, lead management, and top-of-funnel sales dynamics.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce (SFDC) customizations and integrations within a modern Marketing Tech stack (such as Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, or similar SaaS tools).
  • Ability to discuss API capabilities, interpret system architecture diagrams, and navigate database structures.
  • Hands-on experience operating Scrum or Kanban frameworks using Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong capability to bridge technical and business domains, translating complex architecture into business outcomes and vice versa.

Compensation

Base salary: USD 140,000 to 160,000 per year in the United States.

Bonus: Target annual bonus of 15% of base salary based on individual and company performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or PMP
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and the end-to-end lead-to-opportunity process
  • Prior experience as a SaaS developer, technical analyst, or systems administrator prior to transitioning into product or project management
