Job Description
GE Aerospace offers an onsite role in Evendale, OH that sits at the connection point between Engineering, Supply Chain, and customer-facing organizations. In this position, you will help drive product and manufacturing readiness through execution and delivery for assigned hardware, with the commercial awareness and judgment needed to support a broad sales territory while balancing technical, cost, delivery, and quality expectations.
What you’ll do
- Provide leadership for assigned hardware across technical, cost, delivery, and quality.
- Support definition of overall program plans and translate those plans into procurement requirements and milestones for assigned hardware.
- Serve as the manufacturing representative for PCB, Tollgate, and Technical reviews for assigned hardware.
- Apply specialized knowledge across product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups to inform readiness and execution.
- Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
- Stay informed of industry trends that may inform your work.
- Use high judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems across projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns, or customers.
- Assess the quality of information provided and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers.
- Offer new solutions to problems outside set parameters and construct recommendations when standard approaches do not fit.
- Use multiple internal and some external sources outside your function to arrive at decisions.
- May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
- Communicate difficult concepts and influence others’ options on relevant topics; guide teams to consider different points of view.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college + minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management & Hardware Owner knowledge.
- Alternative: High school diploma or GED with at least 10 years of experience in Product Management & Hardware Owner knowledge.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs and projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
