Sr Product Manager - Control Platform Upgrades
Job Description
Senior Product Manager for Control Platform Upgrades within GE Vernova's Onshore Wind business leads multi-generational strategy and product management for turbine controls hardware and firmware, spanning new product development and fleet maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Own the value proposition, go-to-market plan, and revenue/margin growth for Control Platform features, configuration, licensing, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Services, and Commercial teams to translate customer needs, field performance data, and market dynamics into a differentiated product strategy.
- Partner with Customers, Commercial, and Engineering to drive VOC, build business cases, justify funding, and oversee programs for Control Platform NPIs.
- Act as a customer-facing subject matter expert to support contract negotiations, technical reviews, and Inquiry-To-Order activities.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments relevant to turbine controls and embedded systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college; or high school diploma / GED with at least 12 years of experience in Product Management, Renewables and/or Industrial Control Systems.
- 8 years of experience in Product Management, Renewables and/or Industrial Control Systems.
Compensation
- Salary: USD 134,000 - 223,400 per year

- Pay range for U.S. applicants: $134,000.00 to $223,400.00; geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% may apply depending on location; final offer influenced by experience, education, and skills.
