Sr. Product Manager, DAM
Job Description
Own product strategy and delivery for Digital Asset Management by leading roadmap, backlog, and cross-platform integrations.
Responsibilities
- Build deep understanding of end users and use insights to choose the fastest path to deliver value
- Translate business goals and end user needs into product strategy
- Communicate product direction and priorities to the development team, other matrixed teams, and third-party partners
- Define product goals, metrics, and analytics to evaluate product value
- Recommend and refine the product backlog based on learnings
- Manage and groom the product backlog, making future decisions based on expected value
- Partner with Finance to understand financial needs and support business plans for new opportunities
- Monitor research and the competitive landscape to recommend solutions and keep offerings best-in-class
- Balance user needs and business goals tied to driving sales, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction
- Formulate, test, and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing
- Document, review, and ensure quality and change control standards are met
- Create, prioritize, and accept user stories and incorporate them into release planning
- Make daily product decisions that drive value
- Evaluate pros, cons, issues, obstacles, dependencies, and value associated with features and enhancements
- Participate in standups, iteration planning, product demos, and retrospectives
- Explain complex technical concepts in non-technical language for stakeholders
- Collaborate with Engineering, UX, and others to deliver value and address impediments
- Promote modern software development practices
- Advocate for end users and stakeholders through ongoing association with the product and continuous empathy for user needs
- Assess progress with the product team, share lessons learned, and determine next steps
- Manage cross-functional and stakeholder expectations to execute product strategy
- Provide education to requestors to support prioritization based on tangible benefits and/or user experience
- Guide more junior team members on strategy, alignment, analysis, and execution
- Contribute to learning activities related to modern software design and development core practices (communities of practice)
- Participate in talent acquisition, development, and retention activities for the team
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Legally permitted to work in the United States
- Minimum experience: 3+ years
- Education: bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field related to the job

Preferred Qualifications
- 3–6 years of relevant work experience in Product Management
- Hands-on experience managing and scaling Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms
- Deep knowledge of content supply chain processes: content creation, asset intake, metadata governance, distribution, and activation across channels
- Experience with PIM systems, asset intake workflows, and CMS with bidirectional asset syncing
- Experience with data modeling for asset cleanliness/governance and leveraging AI-powered metadata enrichment and automated tagging
- Experience building intuitive search experiences and taxonomy structures for enterprise DAM environments
- Experience working as a Product Manager in a modern software development-based enterprise environment
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, fluid environment where priorities shift regularly
- Ability to communicate with and influence functional and technical team members at all organizational levels
- Ability to work within a collaborative, cross-functional, modern software design and development team
- Proficiency creating, prioritizing, and accepting user stories
- Proficiency conducting user research and testing
- Proficiency identifying goals, metrics, and analytics to measure product value
- Experience conducting competitive research and analysis
- Experience guiding more junior team members through Product Management fundamentals
Work Location and Travel
- Location: Atlanta, GA (onsite)
- Travel: typically overnight travel less than 10%

- Working conditions: comfortable indoor environment; unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable
- Physical requirements: most time spent sitting; frequent opportunity to move about; on rare occasions may need to move or lift light articles

Compensation
- USD 90,000 - 190,000 per year
