Job Description

Senior Product Manager on Target's Data Enablement Cyclone team in Minneapolis, MN (hybrid), shaping data that powers Roundel and Enterprise Marketing with privacy-safe data solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the Cyclone data egress capabilities; translate partner, stakeholder, and platform needs into scalable, privacy-preserving product solutions.
  • Establish the product strategy and roadmap priorities amid a dynamic data and technology landscape.
  • Coordinate across a wide network of internal and external stakeholders to align business needs with technical solutions; rely on data to drive decisions and measure outcomes.
  • Create a holistic product strategy and roadmap, set OKRs, and use customer feedback and data to assess value, build business cases, and prioritize direction and outcomes for the product.
  • Lead the product and collaborate with engineers, UX designers, data scientists, and business partners to deliver the product.
  • Advocate for the product with key stakeholders, maintain a roadmap and backlog outlining themes, epics, and stories, and prioritize work for maximum impact.
  • Foster open communication, drive high performance, align with the organization's direction, create urgency to reach goals, and partner with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives while advancing your own goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of data product management experience
  • Experience with data integration across internal and external systems
  • Preferred experience with modern cloud data platforms and data warehouses
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar analytical languages is highly valued
  • Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalents
  • Demonstrated ability to self-organize and lead through ambiguity
  • Curiosity and passion for product discovery and problem solving
  • Experience facilitating communication between business and technology teams
  • Ability to use product, operational, and business data to understand usage, measure health and outcomes, and inform decisions
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features based on market needs and revenue potential
  • Experience in an agile environment (OKRs, outcomes, user stories, iterative development, scrum, sprints, personas)
  • Proven ability to lead a body of work with cross-functional partners
  • Strong communication skills
