Job Description
Senior Product Manager responsible for enterprise manufacturing systems and AI powered automation across Amazon's manufacturing network, delivering scalable, intelligent platforms that connect AI, orchestration, and enterprise systems for high-volume production.
Responsibilities
- Define requirements and oversee implementation of enterprise manufacturing systems including ERP and MES.
- Drive integration and onboarding of enterprise platforms across multiple facilities, ensuring data flow and operational visibility for internal teams and customers.
- Architect comprehensive systems that connect design, production planning, shop floor execution, quality management, and supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including engineering, operations, finance, and IT to ensure systems meet business needs and scale with growth.
- Define and execute the product strategy for AI driven manufacturing automation, including agentic AI for process optimization, predictive maintenance, and production scheduling.
- Implement model based and physics based AI solutions for simulation, real time decision making, and parameter optimization.
- Integrate Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies with AI/ML platforms to enable data driven manufacturing intelligence.
- Own the product roadmap for manufacturing software systems, balancing near term operational needs with long term capabilities.
- Define technical requirements for cell based, event driven architectures that support autonomous, scalable manufacturing operations.
- Work with engineering teams to implement real time quality inspection, equipment monitoring, and production optimization systems.
- Serve as the primary interface between manufacturing operations, engineering, and technology development organizations.
- Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value propositions and operational improvements.
- Align multiple stakeholders on system requirements, implementation timelines, and success metrics.
- Present technical strategies and business cases to senior leadership to secure resources and buy‑in.
- Design and implement complex, interconnected systems spanning physical manufacturing and digital infrastructure.
- Apply a strong engineering foundation to engage deeply on architecture, data models, and integration patterns.
- Balance immediate operational needs with long term technology evolution and capability growth.
- Communicate effectively to influence and align diverse stakeholders across technical and business functions.
- Deliver results quickly while building sustainable, scalable solutions.
- Demonstrate deep commitment to understanding manufacturing operations and enabling operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience delivering features and managing tradeoffs for a product.
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions on technology decisions and product strategy.
- Experience managing technical products or online services.
- Experience representing diverse customers and stakeholders during executive level prioritization and planning.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, or experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems and managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in product management, manufacturing systems, or industrial automation.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing operations including fabrication, assembly, quality control, and supply chain management.
- Proven experience implementing enterprise systems (ERP, PLM, MES) in manufacturing environments.
- Experience with industrial automation technologies, control systems, and manufacturing data integration.
