Sr Product Mgr - Technical, Private Pricing

AWS Private Pricing Deals Desk is focused on accelerating cloud adoption for large, strategic customers by making private pricing simpler to understand and easier to act on. In this role, you will help shape private pricing strategy, pricing models, and the tooling that supports migrations, partnering across product, services, sales, and engineering.

Location: Seattle, WA (onsite)
Compensation: USD 151,200 - 204,600 per year
Education: Bachelor’s degree

What you’ll do

• Write detailed, clear business narratives and user stories that support pricing strategy, product specifications, and the definition of new features.
• Build business cases, run competitive analysis, perform pricing analysis, and develop financial (P&L) models.
• Collaborate closely with product and service leaders, sales teams, solution architects, business development, and engineering to work through complex product and pricing challenges.
• Own subject matter expertise for specific services and use cases, recommending features, functionality, and tools that help customers adopt AWS products and services more easily.
• Define high-quality roadmaps aligned to team strategy and vision.
• Manage prioritization and trade-offs across customer experience, performance, and operational support load.
• Create strong reporting to support executive leadership decision-making.

Key qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience with feature delivery and making trade-offs in a product context.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions on technology decisions and product strategy.
• Experience managing technical products or online services.
• Experience representing and advocating for a range of important customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience using analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, and QuickSight.
• Experience building and driving adoption of new tools.
