Job Description

Senior Product Operations Lead at Nextech is responsible for driving the efficiency of product development and aligning product, engineering, marketing, and other stakeholders to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Process optimization: Work cross-functionally to document, standardize, and continuously improve product management operations.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Foster cooperation among product, engineering, design, marketing, and customer success to support understanding, coordination, and execution of product processes.
  • Project management: Oversee timelines, resources, and interdependencies for product operational initiatives to ensure on-time releases.
  • Data analysis and reporting: Define, develop, and monitor KPIs for operational efficiency and product performance; provide insights that are accessible to stakeholders.
  • Data analysis and reporting: Analyze complex data to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimize resource allocation.
  • Data analysis and reporting: Present findings to senior leadership and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Financial spend and investment tracking: Monitor product investment spend and report variances between plan, actuals, and adjusted forecasts; keep leadership informed on status and deviations.
  • Customer insights: Develop and maintain a customer insights framework covering feedback, product usage, and owned products to guide business and product decisions.
  • Risk management: Identify risks surfaced by product operations and KPIs; provide mitigation recommendations and track progress.
  • Innovate: Pursue opportunities to improve and streamline processes.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify and leverage AI capabilities to automate and enhance workflows.
  • Leverage AI: Promote the use of AI tools to drive organizational insights and risk visibility.
  • Coach: Advocate for and mentor the Product team to build skills and operate with focus and best practices.
  • Training & development: Support onboarding and ensure the team has tools and resources to succeed.
  • Empower: Guide on using AI to drive day-to-day efficiency and explore automation to reduce manual tasks.
  • Product roadmap support: Assist in planning and prioritizing product initiatives to align operations with business goals.
  • Stakeholder communication: Develop and share product reports, status updates, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Product Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in product operations, product management, or a related field.
  • Strong data analysis, visualization, and presentation experience.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Solid project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams and complex workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities, translating data into business decisions.
  • Experience with product management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana) and data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, Google Analytics).
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and drive results.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
