Staff Product Operations Manager
Job Description
Socure is hiring a Staff Product Operations Manager to run a centralized hub inside a hybrid centralized and embedded Product Ops model.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports for leadership and embedded product teams covering roadmap status, delivery progress, and portfolio health.
- Define and track core Product Ops metrics such as cycle time, roadmap adherence, planning hygiene, and tool adoption.
- Centralize and operationalize Product Performance metrics: define metrics, build telemetry, and make data available to central data and BI teams.
- Coordinate dashboard and reporting delivery with the central Business Intelligence team to support deeper insights and faster product decisions.
- Partner with Finance, Sales/RevOps, and Engineering to incorporate commercial and delivery data (including CRM/ARR) into prioritization and reporting.
- Support recurring reporting cadences including business reviews, quarterly/annual planning, and board updates using clean, trusted data.
- Monitor data quality and drive hygiene standards across systems feeding reporting.
- Design and document repeatable processes for planning, prioritization, intake, and roadmap reviews so teams use a consistent operating model.
- Identify friction and manual, duplicative work across the product development lifecycle and reduce it using better process, automation, or tooling.
- Create templates, playbooks, and checklists (feature intake, roadmap reviews, launch readiness) to reduce administrative burden.
- Serve as the go-to resource for product managers and embedded Product Ops partners on shared tools and processes, including training, office hours, and documentation.
- Facilitate cross-functional handoffs across Product, Engineering, Design, and GTM to keep work moving smoothly.
- Standardize processes across pods while preserving flexibility each pod needs.
- Work with product leadership to translate strategy and company priorities into a concrete, trackable roadmap and planning cadence.
- Run the planning rhythm: quarterly/annual planning cycles, roadmap reviews, and business reviews to connect execution to strategy as priorities change.
- Monitor progress against strategic priorities and flag early when day-to-day execution drifts from leadership intent.
- Support trade-off and prioritization conversations when competing requests conflict with strategic priorities.
- Ensure pod-level work ladders up to company-level strategic themes, not only local priorities.
- Close the loop after major planning moments by ensuring decisions are reflected in the systems teams use day to day.
Requirements
- 6+ years in Product Operations, Business/Sales Operations, or a Product Analyst/Management role, ideally supporting or working within a product or engineering organization.
- Comfort building dashboards and reports in PPM tool (listed as PPM tool), Tableau, Looker, or Google Sheets/Excel; SQL is a plus.
- Use of LLM-based tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity) to augment and optimize workflows, dashboards, and research.
- Experience designing and documenting repeatable processes for intake, prioritization, and planning cadences.
- Comfort facilitating discussions when strategic priorities and day-to-day execution are in tension, and helping stakeholders reach decisions.
- Strong analytical skills to translate messy or scattered data into actionable information.
- Generalist mindset to move across technical configuration, process design, and data/reporting in the same week.
- Bias toward spotting inefficiency and improving it even when it sits outside the stated scope.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills; act as the connective tissue between central leadership and embedded product teams.
- Ability to work autonomously on a small, fast-moving team with shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience facilitating OKR or strategic-planning cadences connected to roadmap execution.
- Working knowledge of PDLC and SDLC processes including roadmaps, backlogs, sprints, prioritization frameworks (e.g., RICE, WSJF), and supporting different launch and product profiles (e.g., 0-1 and mature products) with the PDLC process.
- Experience with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) or CRM-to-PPM integrations feeding commercial data into prioritization.
- Process improvement background (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus, not required.
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, or another regulated technology environment.
- API or scripting experience (REST APIs, Zapier, or similar) for lightweight integrations and automation.
- Experience supporting company-wide planning cycles including annual/quarterly planning, OKRs, and board-level reporting.
What Success Looks Like
- Product teams and Leadership trust the systems and data used for planning and delivery tracking.
- Leadership can get reliable answers on roadmap and delivery status without scramble.
- Tooling stays consistent and well-governed instead of fragmenting pod by pod.

- Teams spend less time on manual coordination and administrative busywork and more time on strategic decision making.
- Roadmap execution visibly ladders up to strategic priorities, with drift caught and surfaced early.
- Cross-functional handoffs follow defined, repeatable processes rather than ad hoc effort.
- System and reporting knowledge is documented and shared, not held by one person.
