Staff, Product Manager - Earnings Intelligence

Job Description

Move earnings intelligence forward with a team that builds reliable experiences for independent drivers. In Walmart’s Last Mile Delivery organization, you will shape the operational intelligence and internal capabilities that keep Spark Driver earnings accurate, reliable, and scalable. This onsite role in Sunnyvale pairs product strategy with hands-on measurement, analytics, and tooling, supported by cross-functional partners across Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Operations, Accounting, and Compliance.

What you’ll do

  • Define metrics and KPIs to measure earnings accuracy, timeliness, reliability, and platform health.
  • Use deep-dive analysis to identify trends, root causes, impact, and product priorities.
  • Partner with Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science on data requirements, reporting schemas, source-of-truth datasets, and scalable measurement.
  • Own associate-facing tools for investigating, monitoring, reconciling, and resolving earnings issues.
  • Lead initiatives in automated monitoring and anomaly detection.
  • Drive ambiguous, high-priority investigations and special projects from discovery through implementation.
  • Build cross-functional relationships, clarify ownership, and establish effective operating mechanisms.
  • Set product strategy, roadmaps, requirements, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Expert communicator.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with complex data to define metrics, test assumptions, and share actionable insights.
  • Understanding of how data models, reporting, internal tools, and operational processes work together to support reliable products.
  • Ability to bring structure to ambiguous, cross-functional problems and move work forward independently.
  • Capacity to build trust quickly, take ownership, and communicate complex ideas clearly across technical, operational, and executive audiences.
  • Curiosity about practical applications of AI and automation.
  • Experience with regulated financial systems, SOX, or ITGC controls is a plus.

Minimum qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 7 years of product management experience.
  • Option 2: 9 years of product management or related experience.

Preferred qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years as a product manager, ideally on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
  • Experience creating inclusive digital experiences, knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and integrating accessibility into digital products.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and alignment with Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.

Compensation and location

Sunnyvale, CA (onsite) at 1345 Crossman Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94089-1114, United States of America. Salary range: USD 143,000 - 286,000 per yearly.

The Last Mile Delivery team builds and scales products that make delivery faster, simpler, and more transparent for both customers and drivers. Within Driver Earnings, you will help ensure thousands of independent drivers are disbursed accurately and can clearly understand their earnings.
