Job Description
Weatherford is seeking a Total Rewards & Payroll Product Owner to steward Oracle HCM Cloud modules focused on compensation, benefits, and payroll. This onsite role in Houston, TX sits at the intersection of business stakeholders and a technical team, ensuring digital solutions are compliant, adopted, and effective across annual rewards cycles. The position centers on translating needs into actionable product decisions while sustaining and optimizing core HR systems.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the functional subject matter expert for sustaining and optimizing Oracle HCM Cloud modules related to compensation, benefits, and linked payroll systems.
- Guide stakeholders and technical team members to address business requirements through innovative digital solutions.
- Continuously assess and propose enhancements to processes and user experience to meet stakeholder outcomes.
- Explain technical concepts in clear terms to influence adoption of best digital practices.
- Lead project teams of stakeholders and technical resources to implement annual rewards cycles and other digital initiatives.
- Build and execute the strategic technology roadmap for compensation, benefits, and payroll.
- Create and maintain knowledge articles and training materials for HR system annual cycles, relevant functionality, and processes.
- Collaborate with the broader shared services group to deliver automated digital processes and ensure system-enabled data integrity.
- Support routine HR system and audit activities.
- Manage Oracle release regression planning, testing, and improvements for assigned modules.
Requirements
- Any Graduate with a minimum of 6 years of experience in total rewards, compensation, benefits, and/or payroll systems.
- At least 3 years of experience as a functional product lead in Oracle Fusion HCM and the TMS suite.
- Ability to partner with subject matter experts to understand objectives and define requirements.
- Hands-on experience implementing Oracle HCM Fusion Applications, including at least one full lifecycle lead implementation.
- Oracle HCM Cloud experience in compensation and benefits.
- Oracle Certification in Oracle Cloud HCM and related modules.
- Experience administering HCM for integrated payroll systems.
- Knowledge of Kahuna for competence management.
- Hands-on lifecycle project experience with Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools, including MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Design thinking capability.
- Proven ability to lead projects and act as a project manager when needed.
- Business functional expertise in talent development, learning, and competence.
- Excellent executive communication skills, both verbal and written, including preparation and delivery.
- Strong collaboration across a matrixed organization.
- Ability to grasp and apply new technical concepts quickly.
- Capacity to work with minimal supervision.
