Job Description
JPMorgan Chase is seeking a senior product leader to own the vision, strategy, and delivery of the cap table product offering for private markets. The role oversees end-to-end equity ownership across private companies and funds and leads a cross-functional team to build scalable capabilities, including cap table modeling, issuer and investor views, corporate actions, reporting, and integrations. This Executive Director level position is based onsite in New York, with a compensation range of USD 180,500 to 285,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Define and steer the product vision and multi-quarter roadmap for the cap table offering and related private market services.
- Own the cap table domain model, covering securities, stakeholders, waterfalls, vesting, option plans, SAFE and convertible instruments, and corporate actions, while ensuring data quality, lineage, and auditability.
- Develop solutions for private companies and related offerings to extend JPMorgan Chase capabilities to companies and their employees.
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture to deliver a secure, resilient, API-first product with robust entitlements and workflow controls.
- Lead discovery sessions with clients and internal users across private markets teams, operations, legal, tax, finance, risk, and controls to translate needs into prioritized features and measurable outcomes.
- Define product KPIs such as time to close corporate actions, reconciliation breaks, data timeliness and accuracy, onboarding cycle time, and client satisfaction; manage a continuous improvement backlog.
- Drive the integration strategy across ecosystem tools including onboarding, document management, valuations, fund accounting and administration, reporting, CRM, and analytics, coordinating with external service providers as appropriate.
- Ensure strong governance through requirements documentation, controls-by-design, operational readiness, change management, and alignment with regulatory and compliance standards.
- Own delivery rituals such as OKRs, backlog management, release planning, UAT coordination, training, and adoption.
Requirements
- Eight or more years of product management experience (or equivalent) delivering enterprise platforms, data products, and workflow tools.
- Proven ownership of complex financial domain products with high data integrity, audit, and controls requirements.
- Solid understanding of private markets and equity ownership concepts, including cap tables, preferred and common stock, options and RSUs, convertible instruments, liquidity events, and corporate actions.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across engineering, design, operations, legal/compliance, and data/analytics, with clear communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured roadmaps, user stories, and execution plans.
- Strong analytical capabilities with comfort using KPIs, experimentation, and measurement of operational processes.
