Assistant Manager, Product Operations

In this onsite Assistant Manager role in Brooklyn, NY, you help set the standard for store performance and team execution. You support store strategy through customer-focused operations, merchandising, and talent development while ensuring day-to-day standards and compliance are consistently met.

Role Summary

As Assistant Manager, you contribute to profitable sales growth by aligning customer and product operations with a best-in-class experience. You assist with execution of the store strategy and coach Leads, Experts, and Brand Associates to support strong customer outcomes and operational consistency.

Responsibilities

• Support store strategies and processes to drive sales results using a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire, and develop productive Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own an assigned area of responsibility to ensure performance and follow-through.
• Implement action plans designed to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand while understanding the competition and the broader retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel capabilities to create a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.

Requirements

• Current or former retail employee with 1 to 3 years of retail management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and the team to meet goals.
• Passion for retail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Results focus through metrics aligned to business goals.
• Commitment to lead, coach, and mentor others to support learning and growth.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holiday, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to utilize retail technology.
• Physical ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stockroom, and office, and to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to travel as required.

Compensation

• Hourly range: $25.20 to $34.00
• Employee pay varies based on qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies, and work location.
