Job Description

Assistant Store Manager – Operations will lead day-to-day execution in-store, translating strategy into consistent customer and associate experiences in Brooklyn.

Responsibilities

Execute customer experience across all brands, ensuring consistency, quality, and emotional connection
Coach and develop Managers through performance management and talent progression
Drive sales floor execution through Head Coach leadership, focusing on behaviors that support top-line results
Translate store strategy into clear daily priorities and expectations across teams
Partner with Operations to ensure store readiness supports the customer experience
Own talent lifecycle activities alongside the Store Manager (hiring, development, performance management)
Lead assigned direct reports, including Managers and/or Supervisors
Demonstrate and lead company values; model leadership competencies
Perform the Head Coach role to deliver exceptional customer experiences through coaching, zoning, team selling, and personal selling
Coach and develop associates
Execute Daily Work Force Management actions to manage labor hours
Maintain visual merchandising standards
Collaborate with Sales Leadership Teams for seamless in-store execution
Demonstrate and lead company policy and procedures
Complete additional duties as assigned, including floorset mapping and execution, product launch support, brand education, and shipment processing

Requirements

Passion for the Victoria’s Secret Brand and ability to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
Experience reviewing business reports and insights, taking immediate and deliberate action to achieve results
Self-awareness and interest in seeking feedback to improve and develop
Experience selecting and developing direct reports to the next level and building an environment where people do their best work
Experience influencing cross-functional partners in informal and formal settings
Ability to work nights, weekends, and a flexible schedule
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds; frequent bending, stretching, kneeling, walking, and prolonged standing as part of daily tasks
Ability to use technology including headsets, mobile devices, and computers
4+ years of retail or operations leadership experience preferred

Compensation

Salary range: USD 39.05 to 46.90 per hour
