Job Description
Based in New York, NY with hybrid work arrangements, this entry-level Associate role in Digital Product Operations at American Express supports the adoption and ongoing operation of Hyperdrive, the enterprise platform for real-time data processing. The position collaborates with Product, Engineering, and internal teams to onboard customers and contribute to the platform's evolution.
Responsibilities
- Support the adoption and ongoing operation of Hyperdrive, American Express's enterprise platform for real-time data processing.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and internal application teams to guide customers through onboarding and contribute to the platform's ongoing evolution.
- Gain hands-on experience in enterprise product management, stakeholder engagement, operational excellence, and delivering modern data products that enable real-time business capabilities across American Express.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree. We welcome candidates from diverse academic backgrounds, including social and behavioral sciences, physical sciences, business, engineering, and computer science.
- 0–2 years of professional experience, including internships, in product management, product operations, technology, consulting, business analysis, customer success, project coordination, or other collaborative problem-solving roles.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to synthesize information, identify patterns, and solve complex problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain ideas clearly and build productive relationships across technical and business teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn technical concepts, software tools, and enterprise technologies.
- Comfortable working with data, documentation, and technical resources to investigate issues and support decision-making.
- A collaborative mindset, strong sense of ownership, and a desire to continuously learn and grow.

Preferred Qualifications
