Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Product Operations, Business Analyst focused on Transplant Diagnostics in West Hills, California. This onsite role partners with Product Managers to optimize product management workflows, analyze performance data, and drive improvements in user experience and business outcomes. The position offers a salary range of USD 72,600 to 108,900 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree in life sciences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional coordination across the full product lifecycle from concept through launch.
  • Assist product managers with data analysis, reporting, and building dashboards to monitor product performance and usage.
  • Maintain accurate product documentation, pricing, and system data across multiple tools and platforms.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to standardize product operations.
  • Contribute to business case development with forecasting and financial modeling.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy.
  • Work with Regulatory, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure compliance and launch readiness.
  • Create internal training materials and serve as a resource for product-related inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences
  • 0–2+ years of experience in product operations, product management, or a related role within the Life Sciences industry is highly desired
  • Solid understanding of product lifecycle management, including development, launch, and discontinuation processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
  • Proficient in process development methodologies and tools with a proven track record of handling complex projects
  • Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge and present information clearly to others
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation abilities in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset to engage with internal teams and customers globally
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and international)
