Job Description

At lululemon, this contract role supports how product strategy shows up in-store, combining inventory operations with a focus on guest experience. As the Product Operations Lead, you will drive the day-to-day processes that keep products accurate, available, and well-presented, and you will also support the floor when you serve as Supervisor on Duty.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with store leadership to bring store product strategy to life.
  • Plan, prioritize, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure execution of product actions such as pull backs, consolidations, and repricing.
  • Lead inventory shifts by creating a fun and productive atmosphere for the team.
  • Monitor product levels and share findings to support sell-through strategy and optimal product availability for guests.
  • Review and interpret daily business data and metrics, including analyzing product sell-through to recommend product focus to store leadership (and pricing input for outlets).
  • Participate in hiring, including recruitment, selection and hiring recommendations, onboarding, and training.
  • Support team performance through direct feedback, in-the-moment recognition, coaching, demonstrations, and hands-on learning opportunities.
  • Build a respectful, inclusive team environment through supportive working relationships.
  • When serving as Supervisor on Duty during store open hours, move dynamically on the floor to deliver technical product education to every guest and help establish a world-class guest experience.

Minimum qualifications

  • 1+ year of work experience.
  • Ability to legally work in the country where the store is located.
  • Ability to travel to the assigned store using reliable transportation.
  • Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics, including using business technology to complete work.
  • Some experience leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others.

Schedule

  • Schedule varies based on store needs.
  • Shifts are typically mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • During peak timeframes, special events, or other circumstances, the schedule may include early mornings or late nights/overnights for some team members.

Work context

  • Moving through the store, sometimes in areas with bright lights and loud music, and sometimes in back-of-house areas with no windows or natural light.
  • Work may be completed as part of a team, independently, and sometimes using a computer or other technical devices.
  • Occasionally moving boxes up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) and using ladders to reach materials.
  • For experiential locations with food and beverage service only: exposure to industrial kitchen equipment and heat may be involved.

Contract role details

  • Location: Nashville, TN (onsite).
  • Job type: contract.
  • Base pay range: $22.50 - $25.89/hour, subject to minimum wage in the location.
  • Target bonus: $2.00/hour.
  • Total target base pay range: $24.50 - $27.89/hour.

Additional role assets (nice to have)

  • High school diploma/GED/equivalent or above.
  • Retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations experience, including experience reviewing and interpreting business reports and metrics to inform action.
  • For experiential stores with food/beverage service only: food safety and/or liquor service certification.
