Contract Product Operations Lead

At Lululemon, the Contract Product Operations Lead plays a central role on the store leadership team, helping translate the store product strategy into day-to-day execution. This onsite position in Newport Beach supports product operations, inventory management, and floor-to-back-of-house readiness, with additional leadership when scheduled as Supervisor on Duty.

What you’ll do

• Work with store leadership to bring product strategy to life through daily execution.
• Plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure product actions are completed, including pull backs, consolidations, and repricing.
• Create a fun and productive shift atmosphere to engage team members in inventory management.
• Monitor product levels and communicate insights to support sell-through strategy and optimal guest availability.
• Review and interpret daily business data and metrics, such as analyzing product sell-through to recommend product focus or, for outlets, support pricing actions.
• Participate in the store hiring process, including recruitment, selection, hiring recommendations, onboarding, and training.
• Support performance and ongoing learning by providing direct feedback, recognition, coaching, demonstrations, and hands-on experiences.
• Help build a respectful, inclusive team environment through supportive working relationships.
• When scheduled as Supervisor on Duty during store open hours, move dynamically across the floor and back-of-house to deliver technical product education and a world-class guest experience.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
• Ability to travel to the assigned store using reliable transportation.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience.
• Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics, including using business technology to complete work.
• Some experience leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others.

Nice to have (job assets)

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent or above.
• Retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations experience.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting business reports and metrics to inform action.
• For Experiential stores with food/beverage service only: Food safety and/or liquor service certification.

Schedule & availability

• Schedule can vary based on store needs.
• Shifts are typically scheduled for mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• During peak timeframes, special events, or other circumstances, some team members may have early mornings or late nights/overnights.

Work context

• Work includes moving through the store, sometimes in front of house with bright lights and loud music, and sometimes in back of house with no windows or natural light.
• Work is performed as part of a team, sometimes independently, and may use a computer or other technical devices.
• May occasionally involve moving boxes weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) and using ladders to reach materials.
• For Experiential stores with food/beverage service only: may involve using industrial kitchen equipment and exposure to heat to prepare food or beverages.
