Job Description

Adobe seeks a Director of Staff to the Head of Product Management in San Francisco, onsite. This role focuses on establishing a disciplined operating rhythm, leadership cadence, execution visibility, cross-functional alignment, and executive enablement, while not owning product strategy or the roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Lead core Product leadership cadences, including staff meetings, leadership forums, planning touchpoints, and business reviews.
  • Ensure agendas, pre-reads, decisions, and follow-ups are well-structured, efficient, and action-oriented.
  • Maintain operating-system artifacts such as templates, trackers, decision logs, and readouts.
  • Maintain a portfolio-level view of leadership priorities, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
  • Proactively surface execution risks and propose options to unblock or re-sequence work.
  • Develop and sustain dashboards that communicate delivery health, milestones, and key business indicators.
  • Synthesize complex inputs into concise leadership insights and narratives.
  • Act as connective tissue across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and GTM teams.
  • Orchestrate readiness for high-visibility moments such as launches, reviews, and critical issues.
  • Prepare executive-ready materials, talking points, and leadership updates.
  • Serve as a proxy in selected forums to gather inputs and drive alignment.
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR on planning inputs such as headcount tracking and operating readiness.

Requirements

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in Chief of Staff, Product Operations, Business Operations, or Strategy & Operations roles.
  • Proven ability to run senior leadership cadences and drive execution rigor.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive-level presence.
  • High judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive information.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Comfort with metrics, dashboards, and operational insights.
  • Experience working closely with Product Management and Engineering teams.
  • Background in fast-moving product or platform environments.

Expected Pay Range

  • The U.S. pay range for this position is USD 153,200 to 299,700 per year. Pay within this range varies by location and may reflect job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • In California, the pay range is USD 207,000 to 299,700 per year.
  • In Washington, the pay range is USD 188,900 to 273,500 per year.

State-Specific Notices
