Manager of Product Operations
Job Description
Air Communities is seeking a Manager of Product Operations to synchronize efforts across business, technology, analytics, and leadership. This on-site role can be based in Chicago, IL or Denver, CO and requires a five-day-a-week in-office presence to support operational execution. You will translate strategic priorities into disciplined execution across the Revenue Management program andLens product enhancements, implementation readiness, reporting, stakeholder alignment, and ongoing optimization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination of implementation planning, readiness checks, deployment activities, operator onboarding, platform migrations, and go-lives for enterprise technology initiatives.
- Assist with launch planning, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and post-implementation stabilization across operating partners and business stakeholders.
- Run implementation reviews, follow-up sessions, and go-live validation checkpoints to promote adoption and continuity.
- Create and automate recurring business reporting that reveals implementation progress, operational status, and key metrics.
- Deliver concise updates and recommendations for leadership to enable data-driven decisions and transparent governance.
- Maintain regular reporting cadences and performance monitoring processes to support strategic initiatives.
- Oversee user administration activities, including access tracking, stakeholder communications, status follow-ups, and collaboration with technology teams for timely user enablement.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve business processes, and strengthen operational effectiveness.
- Support standardization efforts by documenting procedures, requirements, and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate readiness, close process gaps, and support organizational change initiatives.
- Serve as a central coordination point across internal departments, external partners, and vendor stakeholders to align priorities, dependencies, timelines, and deliverables.
- Foster strong relationships that enable successful implementations, meet operational objectives, and drive ongoing optimization.
- Lead recurring engagement sessions to monitor progress, address risks, and maintain stakeholder alignment.
- Communicate clearly and follow through throughout project and product lifecycles.
- Support strategic planning, roadmap execution, sequencing of implementations, and change initiatives.
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to assess dependencies, resource needs, risks, and tradeoffs.
- Assist stakeholders in navigating process and technology changes to promote adoption and continuity.
- Act as the operating partner to the Product Manager, turning the Lens product vision into a disciplined execution model across business, analytics, data, technology, and operators.
- Establish and maintain the Lens operating cadence, including prioritization forums, decision tracking, stakeholder touchpoints, release planning, and post-release follow-up.
- Structure how Lens priorities move from direction to delivery by organizing conversations, surfacing tradeoffs, documenting decisions, and keeping teams aligned on timing and outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution of Lens enhancements to keep workstreams aligned with product priorities, business objectives, adoption goals, and sequencing.
- Maintain visibility into enhancement status, open decisions, risks, dependencies, stakeholder commitments, and readiness milestones.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to prepare stakeholders for upcoming Lens changes, including communications, adoption planning, operating impacts, and support needs.
- Reinforce a consistent Lens operating model with clear ownership, disciplined follow-through, stakeholder accountability, and measurable business adoption.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of program management and analytics experience.
- Proven track record coordinating cross-functional initiatives spanning operations, technology, analytics, reporting, and stakeholder groups.
- Ability to translate business priorities into actionable plans, operating cadences, milestones, and follow-through.
- Comfort working in ambiguous and fast-moving environments.
- Strong executive communication skills to summarize progress, risks, decisions, and recommendations.
- Solid process-improvement mindset with the ability to document workflows, identify gaps, and support scalable operating models.
- Experience supporting technology implementations, go-live readiness, change management, adoption planning, or operational readiness efforts.
- Able to build trust with business partners, operators, vendors, technology teams, product stakeholders, and leadership.
- Data-driven approach to reporting, validation, metrics, and performance monitoring.
- Curiosity for applying AI, automation, and improved workflows to reduce manual effort and boost efficiency.
