Job Description

Join Apple’s Packaging PD team to design and deliver structural packaging that protects Apple products in transit while supporting customer experience and sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute structural packaging for all Apple products, covering shippers through finished goods boxes
  • Partner across teams throughout the packaging design process, including Industrial Design, Marketing, Environmental, Operations, and more
  • Support engineering build activities by investigating failures, identifying root cause, and developing solutions to remove issues that slow build progress

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related industry experience
  • BS degree with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Science, or a related industry
  • Experience using 3D and 2D CAD
  • Strong engineering fundamentals
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to support engineering build activities, including failure root-cause analysis and resolution of issues blocking build progress

Education

  • BS degree with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Science, or related industry

Compensation

  • Base pay range: USD 184,700 to 324,800 per year
