Product Design Producer - Apple Maps

Apple is seeking a skilled Design Producer to help deliver high-quality service design initiatives for Apple Maps. In this onsite role in Cupertino, CA, you will partner across Design, Product Management, Engineering, and business leadership to translate requirements into clear design strategy and ensure launch-ready execution.

Compensation: USD 184,700 - 277,600 per year.

What you’ll do

• Lead, manage, and deliver service design initiatives for Apple Maps.
• Clarify project requirements and define design goals and strategy from early concept through delivery.
• Run and facilitate design reviews with a strong focus on quality.
• Represent design in cross-functional forums to help ensure high-quality launch of the final feature.
• Drive day-to-day priorities through stakeholder alignment, with attention to scale, efficiency, and quality.
• Support execution and delivery processes by connecting the work across multiple streams and anticipating how decisions are made.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Product Management, Engineering, and business leaders across often multiple concurrent projects.
• Work independently on multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Uphold design values, advocate for the user experience, and help develop and present design ideas in a large team environment.

What you bring

• 8+ years as a design program manager or design producer in software product design, leading and driving consumer-facing design initiatives.
• Experience across consumer software development and the product development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI ideation, execution, and product design delivery processes, including desktop and native mobile design best practices.
• Thorough experience integrating Product Design, Product Management, Engineering, Business, Marketing, and other stakeholder teams to clarify requirements and define design goals, strategy, execution, and delivery processes.
• Exceptional Keynote skills, including the ability to distill complex technical and product concepts into crisp narratives and elegant visual decks for executive leadership and broad audiences.

• Strong soft skills, empathy, and ability to read non-verbal cues, with adaptability to change.
• Ability to grasp complexity quickly and focus on key issues.
• Experience working with Industrial Design and/or hardware teams.
