Product Manager
Job Description
Solen Software Group invites a Product Manager to lead Cooperative Technologies in a fully remote, high-visibility role. You will own a revenue-generating product in a focused vertical, define the AI and technical roadmap, and directly guide client onboarding. This position offers substantial autonomy, mentorship through a transitioning technical team, and opportunities to influence across strategy, development, and client engagement within Solen’s portfolio network.
Benefits
- Full ownership of a revenue-generating product in a specialized vertical, not a support role on a larger platform team.
- Mentorship from a retiring technical team handing over responsibilities to the next generation.
- A broad, generalist scope that encompasses strategy, product development, and client-facing work in one role.
- Exposure to the Solen Software Group portfolio company network and operating model.
- OTE compensation of USD 140,000 to 180,000 per year.
About Cooperative Technologies
Cooperative Technologies (CT) is the only US-based company providing ceding carrier data for annuity and life insurance exchanges, establishing CT’s platform as the standard for replacement processing. The US annuity sales market is projected to double to around $900 billion by 2030, with CT at the center of that growth.
CT is at a pivotal moment and seeks leaders who can drive the next phase of growth. The role offers a fully remote, entrepreneurial environment with high visibility and autonomy, enabling a Product Manager to shape the technical vision, AI roadmap, and the shipped product.
Responsibilities
- Own the 1035YellowPages product roadmap, translating client needs into deliverable features and deployment plans.
- Write specifications and implement them: design and code product enhancements in C#/.NET, including database objects, ASP.NET Web Forms, and WCF web services.
- Debug, triage, and resolve defects and performance issues across the stack.
- Coordinate onboarding for new clients and provide direct technical support for the service.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to produce 30%+ of code output thoughtfully, accelerating delivery without compromising quality.
- Within six months, become a subject-matter expert on a portfolio company development stack to independently deliver work in those environments using AI.
Requirements
- 10+ years of combined experience spanning software development, product management, and client communication.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework / .NET, VB.NET, JavaScript, SQL, and VB 6.
- Experience with Windows development and database technologies: WinForms, ASP.NET Web Forms, WCF Web Services, Windows Services; HTML, CSS; Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Experience managing SaaS or web service products through their full lifecycle from roadmap to release.
- Track record coordinating product releases and client migrations in a small-team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with demonstrated ability to interface directly with enterprise clients.

What success looks like — first 90 days
- Ship at least one enhancement or defect fix to production independently.
- Establish direct relationships with existing web service clients and understand their support escalation paths.
- Demonstrate working command of the CT1035 Replacement System to support remaining clients through the end-of-life plan.
Team and reporting
You will report to CT's executive leadership and collaborate with sales, marketing, and data verification teams. A typical day may include coding in the morning, addressing a client support issue at midday, and presenting roadmap priorities to leadership in the afternoon. CT’s small team structure gives this role real influence over what gets built and when.
