Job Description

NinjaOne is building the foundation for modern endpoint management, and this Product Manager role helps shape and deliver the core capabilities IT teams and MSPs rely on every day. Working within a collaborative PM team, you will partner with engineering, design, support, and stakeholders to turn product direction into clear, usable improvements across automations, policies, agents, and dashboards.

This position reports to the VP, Product Management and offers remote flexibility for candidates in specified USA states, with work aligned to Eastern Time zone hours including a mandatory start time of 8:00 AM ET.

What you’ll do

  • Define and evolve the vision for NinjaOne’s core endpoint management capabilities, focusing on market-leading functionality, usability, innovation, and flexibility.
  • Contribute to and own key portions of the core platform roadmap by evaluating opportunities, setting priorities, and making trade-offs that maximize customer and business value.
  • Set product direction for foundational features including automations, policies, agent behavior, configuration models, and related capabilities used throughout the platform.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, support, and other stakeholders to move capabilities from concept to delivery, ensuring solutions are well-defined, usable, and address real customer problems.
  • Engage with customers and MSPs, along with internal teams, to understand how endpoint management is used in practice and translate insights into product improvements.
  • Write clear product requirements, define workflows and edge cases, and ensure delivery meets a high standard while iterating based on feedback and usage data.
  • Ensure core platform capabilities work cohesively across NinjaOne and provide a strong base for other product areas to build on.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT or technical roles such as managing or working in an IT helpdesk, at an MSP, or in an internal IT team.
  • 2+ years of Product Management experience in an RMM/Endpoint Management role.
  • Administration experience with Windows, macOS, or Linux.
  • Experience with endpoint management, device configuration, automation, or scripting.
  • Experience in MSP, internal IT, or infrastructure-focused roles.
  • Strong understanding of how IT teams manage endpoints in real-world environments.
  • Ability to work closely with engineers and understand technical concepts without needing to write production code.
  • Demonstrated capability to take features from idea to delivery and iterate using customer feedback.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Data-informed decision making that balances customer needs, product quality, and business priorities.
  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Experience in a collaborative, multi-PM environment is a plus.
  • Must be able to work Eastern Time zone hours, with a mandatory start time of 8:00 AM ET.

Compensation and location

  • Location: Remote (remote)
  • Salary: USD 150,000 - 200,000 per year
  • Remote-from-home eligibility: USA candidates residing in CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, *IL, KS, ME, MA, MD, NJ, NC, NY, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, & WA.

Additional details

  • Reports to the VP, Product Management.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • Due to operational policies, NinjaOne is unable to hire for this role within the city limits of Chicago. Qualified candidates who reside outside the city proper or are willing to self-relocate will be considered.
  • Starting pay depends on job-related factors including location, market demands, experience, knowledge, and skills.
  • For roles based in California, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, or Washington, the base salary hiring range is USD 150,000 to 200,000 per year.
  • For roles based in New York, the base salary hiring range is USD 150,000 to 200,000 per year.
