Product Manager – Software

Echodyne Corp is seeking a Product Manager to support the development and delivery of EchoWare, the company’s radar software product. In this role, you will turn product priorities into clear execution for Engineering, while helping ensure delivered functionality matches product requirements. The position is based in Kirkland, WA and is onsite.

What you’ll do

• Translate product requirements and epics into well-scoped user stories, including clear workflows, edge cases, and testable acceptable criteria.
• Maintain and prioritize the EchoWare backlog in Jira so upcoming work is ready for development and aligned to product and release priorities.
• Lead backlog refinement with Engineering, sequencing work based on priorities and technical dependencies.
• Act as the day-to-day Product contact during development by answering requirements questions and documenting decisions and changes.
• Make tactical product decisions within established direction, escalating changes that impact scope, priorities, product intent, or customer commitments.
• Partner with Engineering, UX, and Test to resolve tradeoffs, align on what “done” means, and validate delivered functionality against requirements.
• Capture defects, limitations, and follow-up work, and bring customer and field feedback back to the Product team.
• Build working knowledge of EchoWare, including customer workflows, integrations, and operational use cases to guide product decisions.

What you bring

• 2+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a related software product role.
• Experience working with software engineering teams through development and release.
• Ability to convert product requirements into user stories with testable acceptance criteria.
• Experience maintaining and refining product backlogs in Jira or a similar tool.
• Working knowledge of Agile practices, with the ability to understand technical tradeoffs and dependencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate effectively in a technical, fast-moving environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

• Familiarity with radar, sensor software, defense, security, or airspace management applications.
• Echodyne’s technology is export controlled by the U.S. Government.
