Job Description

Amazon’s Customer Experience and Business Trends (CXBT) team is seeking a technically strong Product Manager to shape AWS product direction through deep customer experience insights. This role emphasizes performance and usability evaluations, proof-of-concept experimentation, and clear decision-ready communication to senior leadership.

Role Focus

You will design and run proof of concept experiments that describe how customers experience AWS products and services, with an emphasis on quality signals such as performance and ease of use. You will also translate findings into crisp narratives that support roadmap decisions and help address CX pain points across AWS offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build proof of concept experiments that best capture the quality of customer experiences for AWS products and services, including performance and usability
  • Partner with engineering and science teams to create products and processes that enable efficient performance evaluations of AWS services
  • Develop an evaluation roadmap by synthesizing AWS product plans, customer needs, and relevant industry trends
  • Own the full evaluation lifecycle, including scoping, execution, and delivery of findings and recommendations on AWS CX to AWS leadership through concise, crisp narratives
  • Continuously track and share knowledge on the latest product and scientific developments relevant to AWS and cloud, with focus on AI services and AI applications
  • Conduct exploratory research to understand industry trends and customer use cases, which may include learning new areas and engaging experts across science, engineering, solution architecture, sales, and customers
  • Build customer use case environments using AWS, or other required cloud services, to evaluate customer experience and performance
  • Work with engineering and science teams to develop new CX evaluation capabilities when needed
  • Consolidate insights into crisp narratives for AWS product leadership, influencing the product roadmap and supporting removal of CX pain points

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of customer-facing product development and product management experience, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management process
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and online services under tight deadlines

Compensation and Location

  • Location: Seattle, WA (onsite)
  • Salary: USD 129,200 to 174,800 per year
