Job Description
Google Cloud offers a globally connected platform that helps organizations accelerate digital transformation. In this Product Operations role based in New York with hybrid work options, you will collaborate across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance to drive data driven analyses, strategic programs, and cross functional alignment that advance business objectives. With customers in more than 200 countries and territories, this role supports work at scale. The compensation package includes a base salary range of $177,000 to $257,000 per year, plus a 20% target bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. The position reports to the Google New York office and may support a hybrid schedule per policy. A Bachelor's degree and at least six years of Product Operations experience are required.
Responsibilities
- Define the organization's strategic direction and address critical business challenges by guiding data driven analyses and presenting actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Own high priority strategic programs and operational initiatives from ideation to delivery, building processes and metrics to ensure successful execution.
- Coordinate and align cross functional partners across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance to advance shared priorities and initiatives.
- Steer the organization’s strategic communications rhythm, ensuring strategy is cascaded to all levels and guiding information flow to leadership.
- Manage time sensitive and confidential business challenges by crafting resolution plans and coordinating responses in ambiguous situations; foster high performance and operational excellence through best practices and collaborative feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, Marketing or a related field, plus six years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in Product Operations or a related occupation.
- Six years of experience developing and implementing product strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Experience conducting market or competitor analyses to inform product functionality.
- Analysis of business models, drivers, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Data analysis for business insights using R, SQL or spreadsheet software.
- Collaboration with product and engineering teams.
