Product Operations Lead
Job Description
The Product Operations Lead in New York, NY onsite for Lululemon oversees the store's product strategy, directs inventory and back-of-house processes, and aims to deliver a superior guest experience while guiding inventory shifts on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Partner with store leadership to translate the product strategy into practical in-store execution.
- Proactively plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy efforts in line with standard operating procedures.
- Execute product actions such as pull backs, consolidations, and repricing to maintain offering integrity.
- Engage the team in inventory management by creating a fun, productive shift atmosphere.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate findings to support a sell-through strategy and guest-ready product availability.
- Review daily business data and metrics, including sell-through analysis, to advise leadership on product focus or pricing for outlets.
- Participate in the store hiring process, including recruitment, candidate selection, onboarding, and training.
- Address performance concerns and support ongoing learning through direct feedback, coaching, demonstrations, and hands-on training.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive team environment by building supportive working relationships across staff.
- When serving as Supervisor on Duty, lead from the floor to ensure guests receive technical product education and a world-class experience.

Work context
- Work involves moving throughout the store, at times in front of guests with bright lights and loud music, and at other times in the back of house with limited daylight.

- Occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) or use ladders to access materials.
- For experiential stores with food and beverage service, may involve operating industrial kitchen equipment and exposure to heat to prepare food or beverages.
