Job Description

The Product Operations Lead is part of the store leadership team and supports execution of the store product strategy through product operations and inventory management. This role leads inventory processing and accuracy, helps maintain floor and back-of-house readiness, and serves as Supervisor on Duty during scheduled floor coverage to deliver a high-quality guest experience.

Role Summary

Responsible for bringing product strategy to life in-store by leading inventory shifts, overseeing back-of-house product operations, ensuring readiness across the sales floor and back-of-house, and contributing to hiring and performance evaluations. When scheduled on the floor during store open hours, acts as Supervisor on Duty and leads from the floor to provide technical product education to guests.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with store leadership to execute the store product strategy.
  • Plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure execution of product actions, including pull backs, consolidations, and repricing.
  • Create a fun and productive atmosphere for the shift to engage team members in inventory management.
  • Monitor product levels and communicate findings to support sell-through strategy and optimal product availability for guests.
  • Review and interpret daily business data and metrics to inform actions, such as analyzing product sell-through data to recommend product focus to store leadership and, for outlets, pricing guidance.
  • Participate in the store hiring process, including recruitment, selection, hiring recommendations, onboarding, and training.
  • Address performance and support learning and development through direct feedback, recognition, coaching, demonstrations, and hands-on experiences.
  • Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by building supportive working relationships with team members.
  • When serving as Supervisor on Duty during store open hours, move dynamically and lead from the floor to ensure every guest receives technical product education and a world-class guest experience.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
  • Ability to travel to the assigned store with reliable transportation methods.
  • 1 year of work experience.
  • Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics, including using business technology to accomplish work.
  • Some experience leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others.

Work Schedule

Work schedules can vary based on store needs. Shifts are typically scheduled for mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. During peak timeframes, special events, or other circumstances, some team members may work early mornings or late nights/overnights.

Job Assets (Nice to Have)

  • High school diploma/GED/equivalent or above.
  • Experience in retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations, including reviewing and interpreting business reports and metrics to inform action.
  • For Experiential stores with food/beverage service only: Food safety and/or liquor service certification.

Work Context

  • Moves through the store, including front-of-house areas with bright lights and loud music, and back-of-house areas with no windows or natural light.
  • Performs work as part of a team and sometimes independently; may use a computer or other technical devices.
  • May occasionally lift boxes weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) and may use ladders to reach materials.
  • For Experiential stores with food/beverage service only: may use industrial kitchen equipment and be exposed to heat to prepare food or beverages.

Compensation & Target Benefits

  • Base Pay Range: $21.50 - $24.74/hour (subject to minimum wage in the location)
  • Target Bonus: $2.00/hour
  • Total Target Base Pay Range: $23.50 - $26.74/hour
