Product Operations Lead
Job Description
Lululemon is seeking a Product Operations Lead to join the store leadership team in West Des Moines, IA on an onsite basis. This contract role helps bring the store product strategy to life through hands-on execution of inventory processes, back of house (BOH) operations, and guest-facing product support delivered on the floor.
Role overview
As a Product Operations Lead, you will lead inventory processing and accuracy activities, ensure key product actions are completed (such as pull backs, consolidations, and repricing), and use daily business data to support sell-through and optimal product availability. The role also includes contributing to hiring recommendations and supporting team performance through coaching, recognition, and in-the-moment feedback. During store open hours, you will also serve as Supervisor on Duty (SOD), moving dynamically across the store to deliver technical product education and a world-class guest experience.
What you’ll do
- Partner with store leadership to execute the store product strategy.
- Plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure execution of product actions, including pull backs, consolidations, and repricing.
- Create a fun and productive shift environment that actively engages team members in inventory management.
- Monitor product levels and share findings to support sell-through strategy and guest product availability.
- Review and interpret daily business data and metrics, including product sell-through insights and outlet pricing recommendations.
- Participate in hiring activities, including recruitment, selection, hiring recommendations, onboarding, and training.
- Address team member performance and support ongoing learning through direct feedback, recognition, coaching, demonstrations, and hands-on experiences.
- Build a respectful and inclusive team environment through supportive working relationships.
- When serving as SOD, lead from the floor during open hours to ensure guests receive technical product education and a world-class experience.
Experience and qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of work experience.
- Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics using business technology.
- Some experience leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others.
- Ability to travel to the assigned store with reliable transportation.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
Nice to have assets
- High school diploma/GED/equivalent or above.
- Related experience in retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations, including interpreting business reports and metrics to inform action.
- For experiential stores with food/beverage service: food safety and/or liquor service certification.
Schedule and availability
- Schedule varies based on store needs.
- Shifts are typically scheduled for mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- During peak timeframes, special events, or other circumstances, schedules may include early mornings or late nights/overnights for some team members.
Compensation and benefits
- Base pay range: $22.00 - $25.25/hour, subject to minimum wage in the location.

Work context
- Involves moving through the store, including front of house (bright lights and loud music) and back of house (no windows or natural light).
- Performed as part of a team, sometimes independently, using a computer or other technical devices.
- May occasionally require moving boxes up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) and using ladders to reach materials.
- For experiential stores with food/beverage service: may involve industrial kitchen equipment and exposure to heat.
