Job Description

The Product Operations Lead is part of the store leadership team, focused on turning store product strategy into day-to-day execution through product operations and inventory management. This role helps maintain inventory accuracy, supports floor readiness, and contributes to a strong guest experience.

Role Scope

As a key member of store leadership, you will oversee product operations and inventory flow to ensure both the floor and back of house are stocked, organized, and ready to support sell-through. When working on the floor as Supervisor on Duty during store open hours, you will lead from the floor and provide technical product education to help deliver a world-class guest experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with store leadership to bring product strategy to life through product operations.
  • Plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure product actions are executed, including pull backs, consolidations, and repricing.
  • Create a fun and productive shift atmosphere that engages team members in inventory management.
  • Monitor product levels and communicate findings to support sell-through strategy and maintain optimal product availability for guests.
  • Review and interpret daily business data and metrics to guide actions, such as analyzing sell-through to recommend product focus to store leadership or, for outlets, pricing.
  • Support the store hiring process, including recruitment, selection, hiring recommendations, onboarding, and training.
  • Address team member performance through direct feedback, recognition, coaching, demonstrations, and hands-on learning opportunities to support development.
  • Build a respectful and inclusive team environment through supportive working relationships.
  • When serving as Supervisor on Duty during open hours, move dynamically and lead from the floor to ensure every guest receives technical product education.

Required Qualifications

  • Legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
  • Ability to travel to the assigned store using reliable transportation methods.
  • At least 1 year of work experience.
  • Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics, including using business technology to complete work.
  • Some experience leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others.

Schedule and Availability

  • The schedule can vary based on store needs.
  • Shifts are typically scheduled across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • During peak timeframes, special events, or other circumstances, the schedule may include early mornings or late nights or overnights for some team members.

Work Environment

  • Work includes moving through the store, at times in the front of house with bright lights and loud music, and at times in the back of house with no windows or natural light.
  • Work is completed as part of a team, sometimes independently, and may involve using a computer or other technical devices.
  • Occasionally moving boxes weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) and using ladders to reach materials.
  • For experiential stores with food or beverage service only: exposure to industrial kitchen equipment and heat may be required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Pay Range: $22.00 to $25.25 per hour, subject to minimum wage in the location.

Target Bonus: $2.00 per hour.

Total Target Base Pay Range: $24.00 to $27.25 per hour.

Job Assets (Nice to Have)

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, or above.
  • Relevant retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations experience, including reviewing and interpreting business reports and metrics.
  • For experiential stores with food or beverage service only: food safety and/or liquor service certification.
