Product Operations Lead
Job Description
The Product Operations Lead partners with store leadership to translate the product strategy into day-to-day store execution. In an on-site role in Wrentham, MA, this position leads inventory processing, supports merchandising actions, and helps ensure the store floor and back-of-house are stocked and organized to drive an excellent guest experience.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with store leadership to bring product strategy to life through product operations
- Plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy work according to store SOPs
- Ensure product actions are executed, including pull backs, consolidations, and repricing
- Create a fun, productive shift atmosphere that engages team members in inventory management
- Monitor product levels and communicate findings to support sell-through strategy and optimal product availability
- Review and interpret daily business data and metrics to recommend store actions (including product sell-through analysis and outlet pricing guidance)
- Participate in store hiring, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, and hiring recommendations
- Provide direct feedback and ongoing coaching through recognition, demonstrations, and hands-on learning
- Build supportive working relationships that contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment
- Serve as Supervisor on Duty during scheduled open hours, moving dynamically across the store floor to deliver technical product education and a world-class guest experience
What you bring
- Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, planning and logistics, including using business technology to do the work
- Some experience leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others
- Ability to travel to the assigned store using reliable transportation
- Legal authorization to work in the country where the store is located
- Schedule flexibility based on store needs, with shifts typically scheduled across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- During peak timeframes, special events, or other circumstances, schedule may include early mornings or late nights or overnights for some team members
Nice to have
- High school diploma/GED/equivalent or higher
- Retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations experience, plus experience reviewing and interpreting business reports and metrics
- For experiential stores with food/beverage service only: food safety and/or liquor service certification
Work context
- Move through the store, including front-of-house areas with bright lights and loud music, and back-of-house spaces with no windows or natural light
- Work may be completed as part of a team, independently, and sometimes using a computer or other technical devices
- Occasional physical tasks may include moving boxes up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) and using ladders to reach materials
- For experiential stores with food/beverage service only: potential exposure to heat and use of industrial kitchen equipment
Compensation & benefits
- Base pay range: $24.50 - $28.25/hour, subject to minimum wage in the location
- Target bonus: $2.00/hour
- Total target base pay range: $26.50 - $30.25/hour
