Product Operations Lead
Job Description
Lead store inventory execution and product operations while supporting store leadership and delivering a world-class guest experience.
- Execute store product strategy in partnership with store leadership, with a focus on product operations and inventory management
- Plan and lead inventory processing by proactively managing inventory processing and ensuring accuracy aligned to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Keep the store stocked and organized by ensuring both the sales floor and back of house are stocked, organized, and ready for guests
- Drive product actions including pull backs, consolidations, and repricing
- Engage the team during inventory shifts by creating a fun and productive atmosphere for the shift
- Monitor product levels and communicate findings to support sell-through strategy and optimal product availability
- Use daily business data and metrics to inform actions, such as analyzing sell-through data and providing recommendations to store leadership (including product focus; and for outlets, pricing)
- Support hiring by participating in recruitment, selection, and providing hiring recommendations; also support onboarding and training
- Develop team performance with direct feedback, in-the-moment recognition, coaching, demonstrations, and hands-on learning
- Build an inclusive team environment by establishing supportive working relationships with team members
- Act as Supervisor on Duty during store open hours by moving dynamically and leading from the floor to ensure guests receive technical product education and a world-class guest experience when scheduled
Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the country where the store is located
- Travel ability to the assigned store with reliable transportation methods
- Experience: at least 1 year of work experience
- Inventory and retail exposure: some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics using business technology to complete work
- People leadership: some experience leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others
Schedule & Availability
- Schedule can vary based on store needs
- Shifts typically scheduled: mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- During peak timeframes, special events, or other circumstances, schedule may include early mornings or late nights/overnights for some team members
Job Assets (Nice to Have)
- Education: high school diploma/GED/equivalent or above
- Experience: retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations; reviewing and interpreting business reports and metrics to inform action
- Experiential stores with food/beverage service: food safety and/or liquor service certification
Work Context
- Moving through the store across front of house (bright lights and loud music) and back of house (no windows or natural light)
- Work is completed as part of a team and sometimes independently; may involve using a computer or other technical devices
- May occasionally involve moving boxes up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) and using ladders to reach materials
- For experiential stores with food/beverage service only: may involve using industrial kitchen equipment and exposure to heat to prepare food or beverages
Compensation & Benefits
- Location: Lincoln, NE (onsite)
- Hourly base pay range: $22.00 - $25.25/hour, subject to minimum wage in the location
- Target bonus: $2.00/hour
- Total target base pay range: $24.00 - $27.25/hour
