Join JPMorgan Chase as a Senior Associate, Product Operations within the CDAO Portfolio Strategy & Delivery. This onsite role in Jersey City, NJ offers the opportunity to shape portfolio frameworks, establish operating rhythms, and translate priorities into funded plans and delivered outcomes. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering leaders, Finance partners, and line-of-business stakeholders to align demand, capacity, and dependencies across the portfolio.

Responsibilities
- Develop portfolio decision frameworks that translate enterprise investment priorities into quarterly and multi-quarter roadmaps with clear scope, dependencies, and defined outcomes for execution.
- Shape capacity planning and investment sequencing by evaluating discovery readiness, delivery capacity constraints, and work maturity, then present executive-ready recommendations on when to invest, accelerate, or defer initiatives.
- Redesign planning and governance processes to reduce cycle time and improve forecast accuracy, tightening the intake-to-approval workflow, clarifying decision rights, and standardizing quarterly planning artifacts across the portfolio.
- Define portfolio metrics and management intelligence to improve executive visibility into investment performance, capacity utilization, delivery velocity, bottlenecks, and planning effectiveness; standardize the recurring portfolio reporting cadence used in leadership forums.
- Influence product leadership on portfolio optimization and cross-functional coordination approaches that improve throughput and reduce rework, especially where shared platforms create unavoidable coupling across teams.
- Apply GenAI and agentic solutions to improve portfolio operations, such as automating status synthesis from delivery systems, generating first-draft executive readouts, and proactively flagging emerging schedule and dependency risks for human review.
- Champion adoption of improved tools and methodologies across portfolio management and collaboration systems, ensuring teams use consistent data definitions and workflows so leadership decisions are grounded in reliable information.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in program management, portfolio management, portfolio optimization, or management consulting, with demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive enterprise-level initiatives.
- Systems-level problem solving that translates complex objectives into actionable planning frameworks, operating rhythms, and execution plans.
- Strong executive advisory and stakeholder influence skills, with a track record of building trust, driving alignment, and leading through ambiguity across senior stakeholder groups.
- Change leadership in fast-paced, complex environments, including driving adoption of new governance routines, planning artifacts, and portfolio reporting standards.
- Deep understanding of product development lifecycles and agile methodologies, applying them pragmatically in portfolio planning and governance.
- Clear communication with the ability to produce executive briefings and decision materials that are precise, visually disciplined, and action-oriented for leadership.
- Metrics-driven mindset, with the ability to define KPIs, interrogate portfolio data, and translate insights into decisions and interventions that improve outcomes.
- Proficiency with portfolio management and collaboration tools including Microsoft Office Suite, Atlassian, Monday.com, and visualization tools.
- High ownership, independence, and persistence, capable of driving outcomes in ambiguous environments without heavy oversight.

Preferred Qualifications
