Product Operations Specialist
Job Description
Plaid is seeking a Product Operations Specialist to take end-to-end ownership of assigned Plaid products. This role focuses on launch readiness through operational tooling and training, while using continuous customer feedback to inform product strategy and improve cross-functional execution.
Role Overview
The Product Operations Specialist ensures that new product releases are operationally ready by identifying gaps early, building internal enablement materials, and translating frontline insights into actionable direction for Product Managers. You will also help streamline workflows across teams by resolving tooling and process bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive product launch readiness by spotting documentation, tooling, and process gaps ahead of new feature launches and proactively resolving issues to support smooth customer rollouts.
- Empower internal teams through step-by-step guides, troubleshooting workflows, and training materials that enable customer-facing teams to operate with independence.
- Bridge customer insights to product strategy by analyzing frontline feedback with data to quantify customer pain points and communicate these needs to Product Managers to shape the product roadmap.
- Optimize cross-functional workflows by identifying and fixing tooling and process bottlenecks across multiple departments to maintain alignment and momentum.
- Lead end-to-end technical strategy for assigned products by defining support strategies from early-stage testing through general availability.
Required Qualifications
- Technical communication: ability to produce clear, structured documentation for both technical partners and senior decision-makers.
- Data-driven analysis: proficiency with SQL to pull, join, and analyze operational metrics independently and support recommendations with evidence.
- Customer-facing technical experience: experience in technical support, solutions engineering, implementation, or product enablement, serving as a trusted advisor.
- Self-directed problem solving: ability to operate in ambiguous environments and identify high-impact work without waiting for direction.
- Influence without authority: strong cross-functional relationship building and the ability to drive change using data and clear reasoning.

Compensation
USD 130,800 - 163,200 per year. The compensation range also includes offers equity.
