Job Description

At Agile Defense, a Washington, DC based defense technology firm, the Product Owner for CDAO operations sits at the intersection of stakeholders and technical teams to deliver mission-aligned, data-driven solutions from the Pentagon. This onsite role centers on roadmap development, prioritization, and ongoing dialogue with senior military leaders to ensure technical outcomes align with DoW priorities. The position offers a salary range of USD 125,000 to 140,000 per year and is based onsite in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

  • Bridge the gap between stakeholders and technical teams as Product Owner for CDAO operations.
  • Deliver high-impact solutions that align with mission priorities.
  • Build roadmaps and juggle competing priorities.
  • Effectively communicate with senior military leaders.
  • Contribute to the integration of data-driven decision-making tools, leveraging data pipelines or the Advana War Data Platform (WDP).

Requirements

  • Military Experience: Direct military or military contracting experience, with a strong understanding of CDAO operations.
  • Product Ownership Expertise: 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, including roadmap development, prioritization, and stakeholder management.
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
  • Agile Methodologies: Demonstrated experience working within Agile frameworks, with a solid understanding of Scrum or SAFe practices.
  • Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of data pipelines and/or the Advana War Data Platform (WDP).
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with senior military leaders and technical teams alike.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
