Senior Associate Product Owner

Wintrust Financial Corporation is hiring a Senior Associate Product Owner to help shape and run its payments capabilities. In this hybrid role based in Rosemont, IL, you will partner with Product Owners to maintain, expand, and improve a portfolio of instant payment products, while supporting cross-functional delivery and compliance.

You will take an active role in the day-to-day management of products such as Real Time Payments, FedNow, and Zelle. The position also involves contributing to the product roadmap and strengthening internal readiness through product knowledge of network rules and compliance requirements.

What you’ll do

• Create, design, and monitor key performance metrics on a regular schedule to support business outcomes.
• Maintain competitive information on payments products to identify gaps, opportunities, and areas to strengthen offerings.
• Ensure product documentation and product pages stay current.
• Act as a key point of contact for external and internal partners on product support.
• Partner with the Treasury Management Sales, Support, and Implementation teams to support enhancements and new product launches.
• Manage assigned projects, coordinating through matrixed resources to deliver results on schedule.
• Review existing procedures and processes and recommend automation or process improvements.
• Provide input, recommendations, and solutions for the product roadmap based on experience managing payment products, industry changes, and customer feedback.

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience
• Bachelor degree (or equivalent)
• Understanding of business and consumer payment products
• Advanced computer skills

Preferred qualifications

• Financial services experience
• Product Management experience

Compensation

• Estimated salary range: $71,000 - $92,000 per year
• Eligibility to earn an annual bonus
