Senior Product Manager – HNW Lending

Join RBC in Florham Park, New Jersey, onsite, as a Senior Product Manager for High Net Worth Lending. You will lead a cross-functional agile squad within Banking & Lending Digital Products to drive growth across Securities-Based Lending, Tailored Lending, and Mortgage programs. The role focuses on product innovation, platform reliability, and business performance across the HNW lending portfolio. Compensation ranges from USD 77,000 to 145,000 per year, supported by RBC’s Total Rewards program.

Responsibilities
- Shape and socialize the future roadmap for high net worth lending, aligning market needs, stakeholder input, technical feasibility, and strategic priorities
- Conceptualize and design new lending platforms and enhancements to existing solutions that deliver measurable value to clients, advisors, and internal teams
- Lead growth efforts across Securities-Based Lending, Tailored Lending, and Mortgage products while preserving competitive standing in the HNW market
- Collaborate with design, research, technology, legal, risk, and compliance to inform decisions and align across functions
- Coordinate with RBC business units to deliver a unified OneRBC lending experience that enhances customer engagement and brand consistency
- Steer cross-functional agile initiatives across product, engineering, UX, operations, risk, and compliance to launch new products and enhancements
- Convert business needs into clear, actionable requirements in partnership with technology, business, and control teams
- Perform end-user research and analyze data to validate assumptions, shape requirements, and guide wireframe design
- Present findings and progress updates to stakeholders, including senior leadership and governance forums
- Work with legal, compliance, risk, technology, and operations to identify inefficiencies and streamline lending workflows
- Identify and diagnose technical issues with technology teams to resolve system errors impacting platform performance
- Participate in UAT and post-implementation validation to ensure solutions meet requirements and deliver quality outcomes
- Maintain backlog health by reviewing, prioritizing against the roadmap, retiring outdated items, and clarifying ambiguous requirements with submitters
- Ensure backlog health with clear prioritization aligned to strategic and business targets
- Balance innovation with operational excellence and manage technical debt
- Coordinate with external vendors to evaluate solutions, manage integrations, and support delivery timelines
- Assess vendor capabilities against requirements and ensure smooth integration with current lending platforms
- Manage vendor relationships to optimize cost and quality
- Meet business targets and KPIs to ensure product success and return on investment
- Track product health using KPIs and KRIs such as adoption rates, completion rates, loan approvals, and system performance
- Perform post-launch analysis and ongoing monitoring to validate assumptions and drive iterative improvements
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of progressive product management experience in financial services, with substantial focus on lending, payments, or wealth management products
- Hands-on knowledge of high net worth lending products, including securities-based lending, mortgages, and tailored lending; familiarity with origination, underwriting, and servicing workflows
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in an agile environment and manage products through development from conception to deployment
- Experience building or enhancing digital platforms for advisor and client-facing channels (portals, mobile, desktop)
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications, participate in design activities, and drive evidence-based decisions
- Excellent communication skills to present findings, articulate vision, and influence across teams and senior leadership
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes
