Job Description

Strava is hiring a Senior Product Manager for Subscription in San Francisco, CA (hybrid) to help improve how users move from free to paid and stay subscribed over the long term. In this role, you will shape conversion and monetization strategy, run experiments that reveal what drives purchase decisions across the funnel, and partner across product, engineering, design, analytics, research, and marketing to elevate the full user journey.

What you’ll deliver

  • Own the subscription strategy and roadmap with the goal of increasing free-to-paid conversion and long-term retention.
  • Design and drive rigorous experiments to understand purchase drivers across the funnel, including pricing and packaging as well as messaging and value proposition positioning.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, analytics, research, and marketing to ship high-quality subscription experiences.
  • Track and take ownership of core subscription health metrics, including conversion rates, churn, renewals, and lifetime value.
  • Share experimentation strategy, results, and relevant trade-offs with product peers and leadership.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience managing global subscription products, conversion funnels, or growth in consumer software.
  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on experimentation experience, including A/B testing and evaluating outcomes such as conversion rate, trial-to-paid, plan mix shift, and LTV.
  • A calm, adaptable operating style that maintains clarity and focus in a fast-paced environment.
  • An action-oriented approach to prioritization and solving complex problems, balancing user experience quality with revenue impact.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to build consensus across product, engineering, data, design, research, marketing, and leadership.

Location and working model

This role is based in Strava SF with a hybrid arrangement. The flexible model generally translates to around half of your time on-site, roughly three days per week in the San Francisco office.

Compensation

USD 180,000 - 190,000 per year (base compensation only). Offers equity.
