Senior Product Manager - Technical

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Technical to partner with software development teams in building and managing enterprise finance systems for the global AWS business. The role emphasizes accuracy, automation of financial processes, and actionable insights while owning the product lifecycle and coordinating with AWS finance and development teams. This onsite position in Seattle, WA offers a salary range of $151,200 to $204,600 per year and requires a bachelor’s degree plus five years of technical product or program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute the product vision and strategy aligned with the AWS Finance technology goals.
• Embed standardization, automation, scalability, and agility into systems and tools.
• Gather business and technical requirements, including customer experience improvements, and prioritize work for software development teams.
• Coordinate and communicate with relevant business and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Provide analytical support, including prototypes and proofs of concept, to AWS software development teams.
• Manage fintech products across their life cycle.
• Deep-dive into finance KPIs and performance metrics, identify gaps, and establish measurement frameworks to drive actionable insights.
• Assess design strategies and tradeoffs to inform the product development approach.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Proven track record in owning or driving roadmap strategy and definitions.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions about technology decisions and product strategy.
• Experience representing and advocating for a diverse set of customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
• Five or more years of technical product or program management experience.
