Senior Product Manager Technical - External Services, AWS Edge Data Services

Senior Product Manager (Technical) for External Services and AWS Edge Data Services, based in Seattle, WA (onsite). This role defines product requirements, go-to-market strategy, and the roadmap for AWS Transfer Family and DataSync, while leading cross-functional collaboration with customers, partners, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the DataSync roadmap to drive growth across on‑premises, AWS, and cross‑cloud data transfer scenarios.
• Steer the transformation from project‑based migrations to a recurring workflow integration model.
• Lead DataSync expansion to support all storage types (S3, EFS, FSx) and cross‑cloud use cases.
• Own revenue targets and provide regular reporting in weekly and monthly business reviews.
• Define pricing strategies to enhance profitability.
• Scope products by starting from the needs of various customer segments and their jobs‑to‑be‑done.
• Drive adoption in recurring use cases such as AI/ML training pipelines, life sciences genomics workflows, and media production.
• Address customer pain points around migration pricing, performance scaling, and workflow integration.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager.
