Senior Product Manager - Technical, Marketing Optimizaiton, Devices Science Optimization
Job Description
Amazon Devices is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Technical to lead long-term pricing and marketing optimization initiatives. In this role, you will use science-driven approaches to automate forecasting, allocation, marketing, pricing, and purchasing decisions, while owning multi-year vision and roadmaps for marketing planning workflow tools across multiple Devices product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the multi-year vision for pricing and marketing optimization systems.
- Develop and manage high-quality product roadmaps aligned to your vision and overall strategy.
- Work backward to identify the initial building blocks needed to achieve the long-term goals.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering partner teams, Pricing Research, and Central Econ to establish requirements across program phases.
- Partner with in-house engineering teams to build, improve, and innovate in the space.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs across speed to launch, product performance, and feature scope.
- Create program goals and associated metrics, track execution progress, and remove obstacles to meet objectives.
- Drive organizational adoption of pricing science with stakeholders, including product line teams and functional partner teams.
- Identify new features and projects by working across product line teams, forecasting teams, in-house scientists, data engineers, economists, software teams, and product line marketers.
- Evaluate customer impact and financial implications, select the most promising opportunities, prioritize them, and translate them into a cohesive roadmap.
- Evangelize new features to internal customers by accelerating adoption, tracking outcomes, and sharing impact with senior leaders.
- Prepare documentation for senior executives and ensure roadmaps align with Devices strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience delivering product features and making trade-offs.
- Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions on technology decisions and product strategy.
- Experience managing technical products or online services.
- Experience representing and advocating for diverse customer and stakeholder needs during executive-level prioritization and planning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, and QuickSight.
- Experience building and driving adoption of new tools.

Compensation: USD 151,200 - 204,600 per year
