Senior Product Owner - Digital Ops (all genders)

Join Lufthansa Technik Component Services LLC as a Senior Product Owner focused on Digital Ops for efficient US import operations related to customs brokerage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a central point of contact for feedback from Customers, Importers of Record, and Brokers
• Handle Customer Complaints and provide general status updates independently
• Manage and coordinate responses to disruptions impacting operations
• Take ownership of operational clarifications and coordinate solutions across the involved stakeholders
• Steer and oversee clarifications connected to outside brokerage services for US Imports
• Support internal operational requests, including from the Warehouse Department and Transportation Department
• Collaborate with process managers and other departments to address complaints and drive required improvements
• Provide analysis and recommendations where applicable (examples: Scrap Report, Data overviews)
• Support record keeping of entry documents
• Perform all other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• 3+ years of professional experience (desirable: +3 years)
• Import or Export compliance experience (desirable)
• Fluency in English required
• German language desirable
• Desired knowledge in: Aviation Logistics, Transportation, Import/Export, Supply Chain, Analysis, Customer Service
• Warehouse operations background desirable
• Freight forwarding background desirable
• Excellent knowledge and expert use of: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio
• Knowledge of SAP R/3 or other ERP system desirable
• Excellent use of email, internet, and other computer tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem solving
• Excellent responsibility
• Excellent teamwork
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to manage constant time pressure
• Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.

Compensation
